Service Delivery Manager - IT Security

As Service Delivery Manager you will take ownership of the overall IT service performance and manage all contributors to the delivery of the service – including internal support functions, external suppliers, and other dependencies.

You will be a champion of ‘customer first’ ethos and drive all activities which provide Rexel with world class IT services. This is key to ensure the business can deliver to our customers, improve customer retention and build an expanding and profitable business.

The Role:

As a Service Delivery Manager for Rexel, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Primary accountability for the delivery of Rexel UK Cyber Security Services, ensuring all aspects of IT Security Governance are maintained to assure critical business operations and IT services for 2500 UK&I colleagues across c.300 sites.
  • Provision of the day-to-day activities to enable the delivery of IT services securely, including monitoring of Security Compliance tools, owning actions to mitigate vulnerabilities and co-ordinating with the technologies teams, partners and the business to assess future risks.
  • Accountable for delivering the required levels of UK&I Security Compliance with Rexel Group
  • Understand and apply National Cyber Security Centre advice & guidance to ensure Rexel continues to be the Best and Safest Place to work.
  • Ensure Rexel UK is compliant with and maintains appropriate Security certifications, including CyberEssentials, PCI DSS Compliance and working towards ISO27001.
  • Review & advise on all IT Security Requirements for New Projects/Services to ensure they meet mandatory levels.  For existing services, identify any potential security issues and own the actions to maintain levels of security.  This includes Digital Services.
  • Proven ability to manage major Incidents through to conclusion, including the preparation and distribution of communication throughout the lifecycle and RCA reporting.
  • Manage key suppliers, including Rexel Group Services to maintain best practice operational methods, with adherence to operational level and service contract agreements – leading regular Service and Business Reviews.
  • Develop & evolve security standards as required, ensuring all standards are maintained by Rexel employees and 3rd party vendors.  This includes the assessment of new vendors and products and working across all functions to drive Security Awareness, Training and Adoption.
  • Demonstrable Service Improvement mindset.
  • Monitor IT Expenditure related to IT Security services, ensuring all Financial targets are met.

The Person:

As a Service Delivery Manager for Rexel, you will need:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in a similar Service Delivery/Security Role.
  • Experience managing & partnering with 3rd party vendors to successfully deliver end to end service.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others in a cross functional environment.
  • Credible and capable to be able to quickly build the confidence of the executive team and be seen as a natural peer to other colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills with both internal and external parties.

The Service Delivery Manager role is a FULL TIME permanent position MONDAY – FRIDAY and we offer a pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
