Key Account Manager

Rexel UK have a fantastic opportunity for a Key Account Manager to support our branch network in and surrounding Aberdeen to lead the sales growth for the Top 30 regional customers and increase margin and product mix. Ensure full sales plan is in place for all customers and all Rexel initiatives adopted for sales growth.

The Role:

As a Key Account Manager for Rexel, your main responsibilities will be to:

 

  • Take full ownership on the regional customers sales plan, and engage RSD, AM and ASM in the process
  • Increase the sales for these customers by ensuring all customers are signed to Platinum, with a sales plan in place which supports growing the sales every quarter
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through customer interaction (within corporate governance guidelines)
  • Use the company CRM system (Vecta) to log all activity, produce sales information and identify sales opportunities within the portfolio of customers.
  • To keep aware of trends and opportunities in the marketplace – including the activities of competitors.
  • To promote products and brands that meet the Company’s commercial objectives - For example own brand and selected supplier brands.
  • Drive multichannel adoption
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with local Area & Sales Managers and their teams to ensure the customer accounts are serviced professionally and all targets are achieved.

 

The Person:

As a Key Account Manager for Rexel, you will need:

 

  • Demonstrate track record of growing customer sales YOY
  • Strong commercial understanding to drive margin
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Stakeholder management.
