We are seeking an Ecommerce Coordinator to join our Rexel Energy Solutions team in Taunton, MA!


Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the data scrubbing of commercial product content, growing the quality and quantity of key products being ordered, optimizing product search ability.
  • Set up and monitor a national eCommerce customer support process for Rexel Energy Solutions, including processes to answer requests by chat, email, phone around web shop, Amazon, eBay, Newegg and/or other store fronts, and customer catalogs.
  • Answering phone with proper etiquette answering questions and/or taking / up-selling orders.
  • Maintaining inventory throughout our webs shops and storefronts.
  • Assist in marketing efforts such the taking of, editing, cropping photos / images.
  • Run metrics and work with right group to improve key performance indicators.
  • Limited shipping of Material via USPS, UPS and Fedex including handling of international orders and issuing product return labels.
  • Contributing to new ideas to increase e-commerce sales including identifying new channels.
  • Assisting Rexel Energy Solutions employees with basic Computer / Printing issues.
  • Assisting with new branch setups with the possibility of travel to our remote warehouses.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Data cleansing: Create, organize, and maintain product content that is utilized in various Rexel Energy Solutions eCommerce tools/web shops.
  • Work with division sales, IT, marketing, pricing & eCommerce teams, as well as suppliers, to identify product content requirements. 
  • Collect product data from internal and external sources including current product databases, suppliers, and 3rd party data providers.
  • eCommerce Support: Act as point of contact for division support teams with respect to eCommerce tool support. 
  • Experience – 2+ years experience with Ecommerce Sales, Marketing or IT
  • Expertise – analyze and summarize data, using tools like data warehouse and Excel.
  • Industry – desired someone with electrical distribution industry experience, catalog mgmt.
  • Team player – ability to work effectively in cross functional global “virtual” teams.
  • Learning – ability to learn new systems and applications quickly.
  • Persistence – overcome obstacles, solving complex problems.

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees at all levels in the organization. Strong listening skills (ask probing questions and understand responses).


Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistics. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to assist with development, read, interpret and communicate financial reports.


Reasoning Ability:
Ability to analyze and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Solar Eclipse / Eterm software.

The position is in the corporate office, working closely with the IT staff as well as representatives from within the business. Overtime is required. Some travel may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions during travel. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Office environment.
