We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Rexel Automation Solutions team in Sacramento, CA:

Summary

  • Act as an extension of the business development managers and other sales personnel to proactively grow electrical product sales.
  • Handle multiple customer inquiries, process orders and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Provide support for the Water Market Focus for both pre and post sales tasks.  Pre-sales tasks may include price quotations and/or proposals.
  • Post-sales support would include managing of project orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers and sales teams on pricing, procure/place orders, handle claims, returned goods, and manage accounts.
  • Expedite manufacture shipping schedules to match project schedules and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Work as the primary contact for project management tasks which would include tracking, coordinating project submittals, communicating with manufactures to set shipping schedules and project invoicing.
  • Job duties include providing regular shipping schedules and changes in project scope.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Electrical product knowledge; including, electrical distribution, controls, and commodities
  • Understanding basic information as shown on project plans and specifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical distribution or other electrical sales environments
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels within internal and external groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Education

  • Associate / Bachelor’s degree, technical school training preferred but not mandatory
  • Two years of Project Management experience in Contractor and/or Industrial markets
  • Proficient with Microsoft office tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledgeable and current with market, customers, and vendors
  • Use of good judgment and discretion to independently handle project changes in an efficient manner
