We are looking for a Inside Sales Rep for Gexpro Parts Super Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:


  • Handle customer inquiries; process customer quotations and orders; and resolve customer issues promptly using root-cause analysis.
  • Assist customers with product selection and technical questions.
  • Identify customer needs, propose solutions and close orders for assigned products or territory.
  • Provide timely product quotations (proposals); provide follow-up throughout the customer’s purchasing cycle.
  • Follow-up on price and project quotations in a timely fashion to gather feedback and secure order.
  • Manage a defined customer base and attainment of sales quota.
  • Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
  • Increases business by selling to customers in addition to taking orders.
  • Participate in product meetings, product and process seminars and product training to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and to sensitive to their needs.
  • Problem solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attendance record, required.
  • Able to work overtime, as needed.





  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent, preferred.
  • Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Previous inside sales or customer service experience will be given serious consideration.
