Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Cable Team, based out off our Glasgow Hub. Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00. 

 

As our Warehouse Supervisor, You will be supporting the Manager by leading a team of 2 across our Cable Centre of Excellence to fulfil orders across the region. You will take ownership and drive the team to cover Goods in, Goods out – ensuring that safety precautions are upheld across the Cable cutting machines, Manoeuvring stock using FLT and carrying out cycle stock counts to ensure accuracy.

 

Ideally, you will have team lead or supervisor experience, be happy to be hands on and have a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Take ownership of equipment and environment Health & Safety check daily and report any issues
  • Operate cable cutting machines (training provided) to meet customer requirements and oversee any further training across the team
  • Ensure the safe handling and storage of cable drums and other materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Lead & Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  • Provide excellent customer service at the trade counter, assisting with product inquiries and processing orders.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Previous experience in a warehouse team lead or supervisor position,
  • A proactive and team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
