Sales Counter Manager

We are looking for a Sales Counter Manager to join the Gloucester branch (GL4):

  • Contracted to 42.5 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, shifts between 07:30 – 17:00

As a Sales counter manager, you will be a key member of the team, by taking ownership of the Trade Counter and Phones, delivering excellent customer service face to face & over the phone, supporting on Processing orders, organising deliveries into branch or out to sites and anything else our customers may enquire about.

 

You will be managing existing customer accounts to support their requirements alongside proactively developing new business to maximise trade counter profits.


 

Sales Counter Manager – Experience & Attributes:

  • Must have proven experience within a B2B, B2C, wholesale or sales environment
  • Able to demonstrate great customer service skills, engaging & building long-term relationships, with an ability to spot and capitalise on sales opportunities.
  • Electrical Wholesale / Electrical Product Knowledge (Advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience in proactive sales (phone, face-to-face, or online) and achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & with IT systems
  • Comfortable with change and new technologies.
