Product Manager

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our head office team in Sheldon Birmingham (B26).

•    Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
•    Monday to Friday – shifts between 07:00 – 17:00

As a Product Manager, you will be expected to develop and execute category and supplier strategies within our omnichannel organization. You will need to identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitors, and product ranges, while effectively managing the product life cycle within their categories. 

 

The role will include maintaining and expanding supplier relationships, negotiating supplier agreements to optimize trading terms, and ensuring clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders and internal departments. 

 

To be successful within this Product Manager role will need a background in working with high volume data, and the ability to interpret and propose solutions based on that data. You will need to use your communication skills to influence strategy and liaise with all levels of colleagues.

Product Manager - Experience & Attributes needed:


•    Experience of working within a high-volume multi-product business
•    Experience with direct sales
•    A knowledge and understanding about customers and market environments
•    Good relationship management skills
•    Demonstratable experience of communicating effectively and directing engagement across the business.
•    A growing commercial acumen
•    Be highly organised, with good planning, prioritising and multi-tasking skills to achieve deadlines
•    The ability to interpret and present data/reports
•    Be highly computer literate in a Windows environment (Excel, Power Point etc.)
