Digital Technical Executive

Could you be our next Digital Technical Executive? Got experience in HTML, CSS and UX/UI? 

Rexel UK Ltd & Denmans are recruiting for a Digital Technical Executive, to come on board to create and implement new features to our websites (rexel.co.uk and Denmans.co.uk).

This role will also support the Test and business teams with understanding on how features work and requires someone with strong technical knowledge, and experience of UAT testing.

The Role:

As a Digital Technical Executive for Rexel, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Write Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and supporting business process documents, testing plans that clearly communicate the changes required
  • Work closely with UK IT to ensure
  • new features are getting implemented correctly. 
  • M3 functionality supports the webshop 
  • Set up Conversion rate studies (AB/Multivarient testing)
  • Use analytics to analyse conversion rates changes.
  • Run gorilla customer user testing surveys where appropriate
  • Analyse customer feedback studies and report back on trends.
  • Working closely with teams within Rexel Group on new features and to ensure functionality is built to UK’s requirements
  • Supporting testing team daily, helping with bug fixing and investigating technical issues.
  • Supporting Contact Centre team daily, helping with bug fixing and investigating technical issues.
  • Working with relevant departments and ensure all business needs are met when implementing or changing features.
  • Work with the Ecommerce Assistant to implement changes on the website. 
  • Train staff on new features – developing training documentation or video guides

 

The Person:

As a Digital Technical Executive for Rexel, you will need:

  • Experience of working within an Ecommerce team with Content Management System (CMS) knowledge.
  • Good understanding on business needs and the ability to voice this to technical teams.
  • Able to communicate technical functionality to non-technical teams.  
  • Ability to represent your Rexel Country within Group on conference calls
  • Able to clearly communicate timelines, tasks and deadlines to all stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience of coaching and developing team members
  • Experience on how process flow works. 
  • Understanding business processes and how website will impact the ERP system (M3)

Technical Skills required:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (M3 preferred)  
  • Experience with UAT testing  
  • Good technical knowledge (Hybris preferred) 
  • Good technical knowledge of HMTL, CSS and UX/UI (user experience) 
  • Experience in communicating technical functionality to non-technically teams  
  • Expertise developing new web shop features 
  • Content Management System (CMS) knowledge.
