About the role

The primary purpose of this role will be the accurate/timely entry of Customer Orders and Purchase Orders into the system and ensuring their maintenance. You will also be responsible for providing the appropriate communications support for enquiries regarding orders, products, back orders and communicating with Customers and Suppliers 

Some of your key responsibilities

  • Provide high quality customer support to internal and external queries (Branches/Business/Vendors) including such tasks as prompt, courteous and accurate resolving of enquiries by phone/email. 
  • Investigate and resolve all enquiries – regarding such topics as product, orders, shipments, back orders, RTS/returns, warranty claims and purchase orders - according to Service Level Agreements and managerial expectations.
  • Discuss and resolve SKU/price/quantity anomalies with customers and suppliers in a proactive manner to ensure that changes are registered accordingly and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Minimise stock and/or operational service delays by coordinating a solution and ensuring customers receive regular communication.
  • Handle, enter and maintain all pertinent information to required business platforms in such a manner as to ensure the requirements of the operating and quality systems are met in timely, efficient and accurate fashion. 
  • Providing general support for the operations team as well as in-branch support + compliance inspections at our stores

A bit about you

  • Logistics and warehouse operations knowledge
  • Strong attention-to-detail and results focused
  • Organisation skills (ability to multi-task, self-motivated, ability to prioritise)
  • Communication skills (ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels effectively, written and verbal)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office + any major ERP such as Pronto, SAP, Oracle etc)
  • Administration and data entry experience
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment
