Territory Sales Manager - SEQ South

This key role will predominantly be responsible for developing new business and growing existing business within your assigned territory, with a focus on driving not only sales but also margin growth.  You’ll be a self-starter & a hunter, who can readily create rapport with people at all levels whilst keeping sight of the bigger picture.

A bit about your role

  • You will deliver the highest quality customer service and present our business solutions to the market, whilst respecting the Rexel Sales Excellence techniques.
  • Implementation of the company’s sales, marketing plans and strategic objectives
  • Selling the concept of multi access points to Rexel: branch, webstore, email, phone
  • Preparing sales proposals and presentations.
  • Using CRM as the ‘go to” source of all things about the customer
  • Building strategic partnerships with key suppliers to drive sales and profit growth.

A bit about you

  • Ideally have a proven track record in sales, with the ability to sell face to face, over the phone and via video conferencing whilst knowing what approach is best for each customer in portfolio
  • Enjoy working with a high level of autonomy and have a desire to grow within the business
  • The ability to research, formulate and present in front of Senior Management
  • Excellent negotiation, solution selling and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Microsoft Dynamics / CRM Excel, Outlook, Web)
  • Electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience highly regarded
  • Clean Full Drivers Licence
  • Enjoy having a fair dinkum yarn about anything electrical!
