This is a key critical position as part of our John R Turk Sydney Metro Projects team for a Projects Administrator with experience in Estimating and/or Expediting specifically in the electrical wholesaling or lighting industries. This role will see you responsible for providing accurate, competitive, and timely project pricing on all project opportunities through a systematic and considered process. You will also be responsible for driving successful outcomes and supporting the network in providing a positive customer experience.

A bit about your role

  • Your focus will be expediting projects on behalf of our clients. 
  • Interact with customers and suppliers to ensure products and timelines are met. 
  • Build relationships with manufacturers and Sales Representatives to produce competitive and timely pricing. 
  • Collaborate with management to determine cost and sell amounts to maintain and optimise margins. 
  • Site calls and deliveries to ensure your projects are at the highest level of service and customer relationship building.

 A bit about you

  • Demonstrated experience working in Electrical Wholesaling or Lighting industries (Trades, or Building/Construction industry experience will also be highly regarded)
  • Experience in estimating and knowledge of how to read lighting takeoffs 
  • Proficient in MS Excel & Project – Advanced level.
  • Outstanding customer service skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written 
  • Ability to multitask, be organised and think outside the square
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to work autonomously.
